Of the cognitive neuroscience handbooks recently published, this, to my knowledge, is theonly one that is entirely devoted to the neurology of language. In the editors' words, it is“intended as a state-of-the-art reference and resource book describing current research andtheory in the many subfields of neurolinguistics and their clinical applications.” It isintended for “the newcomer to the field, as well as the expert.”
