Data-Centric Engineering  has inaugurated a new annual Best Reviewer Award to recognise the outstanding contribution that reviewers make to assess work and develop the interface of data science and engineering. 

We're delighted to announce the following three winners for their contributions to the journal and the wider community: 

• Nguyen Anh Khoa Doan - Associate Professor in Aerospace Engineering at Imperial College London. 
• Brian Sheil - Director of Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction & Laing O’Rourke Associate Professor in Construction Engineering at the University of Cambridge. 
• Zack Xuereb Conti - Turing Research Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute.

As criteria for awarding these prizes, we considered the number of papers reviewed in 2024-2025, the number of reviews completed on time in that period, and the quality of the review in terms of their constructive feedback for the authors.
