Welcome Agostino! It is with great pleasure that we announce a change in the position of the Editor-in-Chief for the journal Theory and Practice of Logic Programming. We bid good bye to Mirek Truszczynski, who served in this capacity for the past ten years.

Under his leadership, the journal has maintained its high stature as a leading journal dedicated to logic programming, declarative programming, and knowledge representation. Thank you, Mirek, for all these years of service. And we are very happy to announce that as of January 1, 2026, the new Editor-in-Chief for the journal will be Agostino Dovier. We are excited about the change and wish Agostino a lot of success in steering the journal towards new and emerging trends in logic programming, especially those tied to ongoing AI explosion we are witnessing now.
