I thank Claudia Brittenham for her generally congratulatory comments regarding the volume Constructing Power and Place in Mesoamerica: Pre-Hispanic Paintings from Three Regions, which I coedited with Leticia Staines Cicero, and I am pleased to note that a major flaw described by Brittenham, the low resolution of the illustrations, has been remedied in a reprint by the University of New Mexico Press, which includes color illustrations (hardcover, ISBN 978-0-8263-5906-3).
