It is unfortunate that our article published in animal about sustainability of ruminant agriculture (Bocquier and González-García, 2010) had several duplicated paragraphs, mainly in the introductory section, and in the data in Tables 2 and 3. This reproduced text and data was from another paper written by Andy Thorpe and published in Climatic Change in Reference Thorpe2009. This inclusion was not a deliberate action, and we apologise sincerely to the publisher of Climatic Change and to Andy Thorpe for this inadvertent infringement of copyright.
