‘Tis chemo I will take
Within three days of this
Life I leave,
For a handshake I did make
With the dealer to whose
Hope I cleave.
But even I know I awaken with
A thirst I cannot slake,
Tho' daily my belly drains
Two liters I had not drank.
Yet the CPT-eleven
In my veins will flow,
For the cancer's growth,
The dealer has promised,
Will surely slow.
‘Tis chemo I will take
Within three days of this life
I leave.
