Due to a production error, two versions of a supplementary dataset were accidentally published.
The authors sent the correct version of the database to the production team as the article was being finalized for publication, but both the old and incorrect version of the database and the correct one were mistakenly published. The erroneous dataset has been removed from supplementary material 03.
For readers who may have accessed or used supplementary material 03, the only differences between the correct sup mat 02 and the now-removed sup mat 03 are as follows:
-
Spelling has been standardized throughout
-
Cells D390 and E390 have been corrected from “Uruguayan” to read “Argentinian”. The victim whose information is recorded in this row held at birth dual Argentinian-Uruguayan nationality. To ensure standardization, for all minors in the dataset we only included the nationality of the country in which they were born.
Supplementary material 02 contains the correct dataset as used for all figures and analyses in the article.
This correction notice was updated to replace an earlier notice which was issued incorrectly.
