Cambridge Prisms: Ecosystem Recovery aims to develop actionable understanding and progress in the natural recovery and active restoration of ecosystems. The journal takes a systemic approach to the recovery, rewilding and restoration of nature, and the preservation of functional traits in the environment. It particularly encourages research that cuts through traditional disciplinary boundaries to present novel solutions to challenges in ecosystem recovery. This interdisciplinary approach will enable the journal to establish baselines for change, inform best practice, guide implementation, and inform global policy. All relevant perspectives are considered, including those of researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, producers and stakeholders, taking into account fundamental ecological principles, conservation management expertise, traditional ecological knowledge and societal impact, from the biome to landscape scale.
