The unit of the vitamin D dose was inadvertently changed from IU to micrograms (µg) without application of the appropriate conversion factor. There is therefore an error in the unit used to report the vitamin D dose.

“200 µg/d of vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol” should read “5 µg/d of vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol” (or “200 IU/d”). “600 µg/d of vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol” should read: “15 µg/d of vitamin D3 or cholecalciferol” (or “600 IU/d”).
