The conference TACL 2024 was held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Barcelona (Spain), on July 1–5, 2024, preceded by a summer school on June 25–28, 2024.

The event was organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Barcelona (UB) and the IMUB, the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA - CSIC), and BARCINO (Barcelona Research Group In Non-Classical Logic). The meeting was sponsored by the Association for Symbolic Logic, the IMUB, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Faculty of Philosophy of the UB, and co-financed by the research projects MOSAIC (Rise-MSCA-2020 P.101007627), ClaVa (MSCA-IF-2020 P.101027914), PROREAL (MSCA-IF-2019 P. 890616), SHORE (PID2022-141529NB-C21/C22), and the Ramón y Cajal programme (RyC2021-032670-l).

The programme of the school and conference TACL 2024 focused on three interconnecting mathematical themes central to the semantic study of logics and their applications: algebraic, categorical, and topological methods. There were around 200 participants among the school and the conference.

The school consisted of four days of invited tutorials by Samson Abramsky, David Fernández-Duque, Daniela Petrisan, and Michael Pinsker, and saw the participation of around 60 international students.

The programme of the conference consisted of five days of talks. In particular, there were 128 contributed talks and 12 plenary invited lectures, given by: Juan Aguilera, Benno van den Berg, Célia Borlido, Luca Carai, Ramon Jansana, Ganna Kudryavtseva, Matías Menni, Aybüke Özgün, Adam Přenosil, Luca Reggio, Luigi Santocanale, and Sara Ugolini.

The Program Chairs were Tommaso Moraschini and Luca Spada. The members of the Organizing Committee were Tommaso Flaminio, Damiano Fornasiere, Valeria Giustarini, Joan Gispert (Chair), Lluís Godo, Isabel Hortelano, Miriam Kurtzhals, Ion Mikel Liberal, Francesco Manfucci, Miguel Martins, Tommaso Moraschini, Miguel Muñoz, Adam Přenosil, Sara Ugolini (Chair), and Amanda Vidal.
