About the series
Over the past years, reflections on this history have been published in an increasing number of professional journals for the history of economics, and monograph series of academic and commercial publishers. In addition, historians, sociologists and philosophers have shown an increasing interest in the history of economics and in economic science more generally. This Elements series in the history of economics targets this wide and still growing academic readership with learned essays on the state of existing scholarship and its limitations.
